They have to be hosted at image shack, hunt101.com, or some hosting site. You copy the URL address of the pic and insert it into the post. If the ] is not copied before and after the pic info you will have to add them.

what image hosting site do you recommend? Is there a difference? I was thinking of photobucket.com are they okay?

image shack is really cool. I have been using hunt101.com, but they only allow pics under 500KB.

how do i make it so the pic actually shows in the thread, instead of just the link to the pic. thanks.

Copy the bottom bar on Imageshack and paste it in between the image tags.

Example:

[img ]url here[/img ]

(no spaces in the tags)
