Could someone post a picture of the adaptors to mount a small pin upper to a big pin lower. I did a search but nothing came up.
Thanks.

Check out CDNN, Bushmaster, or DPMS. They all carry them.  Not sure about pics though.

Here's some stuff that came up, no pictures; sounds like it would have to be a stepped two piece item though.

A small piece of advice. Do not buy the adapter sold by Bushmaster or any of the major producers. Why? Because they rotate out of position every time you open the action, and have to be resrt , with two screwdrivers, when you want to close the thing up.

The ONLY adapter I've ever found that maintains it's setting when you open and close the piece is the one sold by CDNN. It's apparently a duplicate of the piece Colt supplied back when they were switching from large to small hole ARs and wanted to dump some big hole lowers w/the newer small hole uppers.

I couldn't bring something like that into Canada because of the red tape involved.
With a picture I can make something myself.
I was wondering if I could drill the receiver for the larger pin, or is it "Not Recommended"?
Thanks.

Not recommended. There generally isn't enough materiel in the ears t open the hole up.

If your a machinist, just make yourself some bushings for the large holes.  OD of bushings to match diameter of large holes and ID to match diameter of small holes.  then remove detents and springs and make a pair of small diameter pins with "c" clips to retain them.  or perhaps drill out the pins and use screw heads to retain them...

You're kidding, right?  You can't bring a screw into Canada w/o paperwork?

Hell, I shipped one I had to a guy in New Zealand a few years back; and I don't know anywhere w/tougher gun laws than NZ.

You're right there is a $100.00 exemption from an export licence, but  I would imagine some retailers don't want to ship to Canada. Too much trouble?
I phoned CDNN- won't ship to Canada. Even for a stupid little screw. I'll have to find someone else, but I like to see what I'm buying before I spend my money.

Anything over $100.00 requires an export permit from the State Department. Then I need an import permit. When it clears Canada Customs I have to pay duty if applicable. The Canadian Border Service is involved, and if it is a firearm or certain parts, it has to be registered with the Canada Firearm Centre.
It's not like things can just be mailed across the border.
Sorry for the rant.
