Try and do a search. This has been discussed many times over the past year. So much so that it is hardly ever discussed now. The floor plate is locked in place and can't accidently slide off. Not that I have ever had that problem. In addition the "Magpul" is integrated into the plate assembly. It is sturdier than the original Magpuls. I'm the first to admit that $7+ for a Ranger Plate is a little high, but there is a considerable amount of effort involved in manufacturing these. Tack |
