Hi guys!
I live in beautiful Canada.  I recently got my hands on my first LEM AR-15M4.  And now I'm in the process of equiping it.  Stuff is hard to get to Canada.  I need a LaRue mount for Trijicon ACOG (standard length) to fit on my AR-15.  So far the US sellers that I've contacted won't or cannot ship to Canada.

Does anyone know US companies that will sell the Troy mount and will ship to Canada?  I really need help guys!  thanks!

Pat

Can't you have one of your American friends accept the package for you then resend it to you?

try special ordering through Brownells  www.brownells.com...they deal with import/export stuff all the time.  You will have to call them and talk to their special orders department.

emore,
It's an option I'm looking into.  The only american people I "know" a little are you guys in the question forum...  It's not easy to have trust in people you don't really know... as much for me or you guys.  I met one shooter at AR15.com that seems ok,  but It will be a last resort thing.  I don't want to ask for unecessary help and disturb people if I don't have to.

Thanks!

I called Brownells but they don't sell the LaRue mount...  But they do ship to Canada.
I'll have to do more research...

Thanks anyway!

You can always try the import/export permit route to get stuff out of the US...

What do you mean?  Getting an import permit?
I don't know how it would help, because the problem is not importing stuff, it's exporting stuff out of the US...  None (or almost) of the US dealers  can because of the US law on exporting gun parts.

I dont see any harm is sending Canadains mounts,as long as we keep all the guns away that they go to,I have never trusted that little brother to the North.Just joking,I love Canada, been fishing there once, very nice.Would customs even know what it is?

nothing worked out.  Didn't find any dealer who was willing to ship over the border...  It's sad because there's a big market up here.  What I've done is get in touch with the manufacturers and asked them the nearest US dealer of my location so I could go and get the items by car....Well if anyone has a miraculous plan, you're welcome!

Well I don't think there would be a problem getting the stuff through customs.  It's just if the dealer gets caught by the government, he's gonna get pinned real good.  There's one dealer (won't write the name of the company for safety purposes) named Denny, a great guyho
Hey dealers, guys up here like AR stuff too!
