Long story short, my bcg in my AR does not move at all when fired. I just finished a build and shot it for the first time today. When it fires, the BCG does not move at all. Here is what I know:

1) The gas block is aligned properly. I know this because there is a ring of residue around the gas port in the barrel. See below. Also, there are alignment slots on both the barrel and tube.

2) Gas is getting into the gas tube. I took a Q-tip and swabbed the inside of the gas tube and there was residue. I did the same with the gas tube on the BCG.

3) There is PLENTY of lube throughout the whole rifle.

Now if there was leakage in the BCG, I would assume it would move back but a case would get stuck or something. But the BCG does not move at all. I am using an Odin Works 18'' rifle barrel, a gas block that came with the barrel, and aero precision bcg/upper. What could be causing this??

First, do you have the right length gas tube and is it inserted into the gas block and pinned properly?  the pic below shows where the end of the tube should be in the upper (centered in that scallop cutout).

After that, try blowing into your gas key on the carrier.  It'd be a long shot, but I have read someone on here had one where it wasn't milled completely and there was no hole in the top of the carrier.
