Dear community Few days back we received in Greece from the local guns dealer a brand new pof 308 revolution ( piston ) in 12.5 From the first round fired up to today ( roughly 400 rounds ) the rifle has been a total nightmare producing every single malfunction known to man ... Double feeds , fail to feed , fail to eject , jammed casings , scratched cases , bent cases while feeding by hand , non consistent ejection pattern We have tried everything Different weigh buffers Cleaning the breach Different magazines ( pmags , lancer ) Playing with the 5 position gas black that actually only works at setting Normal when not suppressed It is almost impossible to send it back to the us due to logistics so basically we are stuck with this short mother f@@@cker Has anybody experienced the same issues and if yes did he ever fix it and how The only thing I noticed is that the extractor runs a single spring without an o ring or rubber insert Both my Haenel piston 14.5 and my NJ 308 di in 16'' run o rings round the extractor spring |

How smooth are the chamber walls ? Are the fired cases "scuffed" up from the chamber after firing ? Some pics of the fired cases, and the feed ramps would help. I assume it is thoroughly lubed for break in ? What ammo was used ? |

hello guys We send the rifle to a local gunsmith to inspect without doing any work that might void the warranty So 1) pictures will follow 2) we used nato 7.62 , ppu 147 and ggg 147 3) yes but only at gas setting normal . at that setting the rifle recoils and behaves like a 12 gauge firing slugs . utter disapoinment. Greece lives in the stone age when it comes to guns and ammo we can only source the following ammo 7.62 nato , ggg 147 , ppu 147, sellier bellot 147 and 175 and some match grade lapua and sako trg rounds And thats it .... |

I have a SIG SPEAR which is in 308 and the first magazine was a bit harsh in that I had a few malfunctions including the locking the bolt back on the last round. It was very difficult to use too. What I did was simply cleaned the heck out of it and the next time I took it out, it worked flawlessly. I still noticed it was very stiff which after about 600 rounds or so, it felt better and better to use. Today it feels very nice, and easy to operate. Not sure how many rounds you shot, but I would clean the heck out of it from everything including the piston system. After that, I would attempt to shoot at least 500 rounds or so to "break it in" and see if it works any better. Also, make sure the gas system isn't set to anything less like suppressed if it comes with that. |

Why such a short barrel? Did you disassemble completely and lube? Sounds odd from POF. Easy to paint some company with a broad brush as junk. Just like the media makes some wild claims about others saying some people say. Never any hard facts from a credible source. What happened in transport from Arizona to Greece? Just too much random stuff happening in a foreign country. I read it and sounds like a report from M snow. Stop hyperventilating and tackle the problem one fix at a time after reading how to operate the. What are your credentials to operate unusual weapon? |
