I'm building my first AR. I've owned several, so I'm familiar with the workings, but I'm having a problem already. I bought a stripped RRA lower at a local gun show, so the seller is gone and I have no way of contacting him to swap out and make it right. The problem is that every mag I've tried fits very tight. I have a couple of Adventure Line 20 rounders that will go in and lock in place, but will definately not drop free. I've tried a couple of 30 rounders that will not even insert far enough to lock in. I can see where the interference is, so should I start grinding a little at a time, checking fit as I go. Or, should I contact RRA and see if they'll make it right? My parts kit and upper parts should be in this week, so I'm just trying to iron this out before I start.

Contact RRA. This is a known issue.
