What kinda groups can you shoot with an aimpoint of eotech at 100-200 yard range? Trying to decide either a 1-4 or red dot. its a rather heavy, non-field AR and will be shot mostly around 150 yards. Just curious of the distance capabilities of a red dot

I can shoot at best 1.5MOA with an EOTech or Aimpoint.

Most often around 2 MOA.

Others here (Molon) can shoot far better than I.

At most a 3 inch group at 100 yards with a Eotech 512. If you are looking more for precision, expecially at 200 yards, go with a smaller dot.

is there anything smaller than the 1 moa dot of an eotech thats not a scope? Just wondering, cuz if not im liking going to wind up with a Burris XTR 1-4

I think the Burris XTR would better fit your needs if you're just concerned more with accuracy.  It will not be as quick in CQB when fast target accquistion would be needed but it will serve better at 150+ yards imo.

I shot a 2 in. five shot group at 100 yd.with XM193 this last weekend using a 512. I might have
done better if I had slowed down a little more, That was shot prone with a standard sling.
I can hit an 8 in. steel at 300 yd. all day long too. That 1 moa center dot works for me just
fine.
