| Hello, I am going to free float my barrel on my Armalite M15A2 rifle. I am going to use the clamp on gas piston that has the rail integrated on it. Here is the reference material I am using. I am going to use the gas block shown in the picture about 3/4 down on the page. http://www.varminthunters.com/ar15tech/freefloat/ar15freefloat.html I want to know if I purchased a rail mounted front sight such as the one in the following link if it will be close to the factory mounted front sight tower height so I can use this setup instead of re-using the factory gas block or mounting a scope. http://mwgco.com/thestore/prods/PRI-FUP-RMF.html Any help is greatly appreciated. |
