Hello gents, I have just received an M4 barrel complete with front sight attached an barrel nut but it has absolutely no finish at all, it looks like a raw barrel. Can someone gimme an advice on how to apply some kind of finish on it. Is there a spray or something? Thanks in advance, LRRPS. |

If its a chrome-moly barrel( with or without chrome lining) it should be phosphate parkerized. I've had three barrels parkerized, two black and one grey, by Mike at [url=www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=25&t=139752]Rapid Fire[/url], on the EE. If the barrel is Stainless steel it will need to have a "teflon type" coating. I don't know if Rapid Fire does that process. |
