ok i just got the thing and im not seeing colt markings on the barrel...
i looked on the colt website and this really resembles the heave barrel assembly. The 1/9 mark is right in front of the front sight.... is this a colt upper????

also up by the adjustable back sight (a2) i have a keyhold

If it's a Colt barrel, it will say C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9. If it's an old barrel, it may say C MP CB or C MP B.

The marks on the barrel could be under the handguards if you don't see anything.

Even if its not Colt stuff, as long as the rifle works, its still one heck of a deal.
