[ARCHIVED THREAD] - recoil buffer help

I have a Bushmaster C15 carbine that came with an adjustable stock. I swapped out the stock for a standard A2 rifle stock. The A2 stock came with a rifle buffer and longer buffer tube. My question is should I be using the buffer and spring from the original adjustable stock or the rifle buffer and spring?
