[ARCHIVED THREAD] - recommendations ???

I looked at a new Armalite.
Fixed stock, flat-top, Stainless Steel barrel, free-floated carbon fiber handguards,
barrel similar in diametr to an H-BAR.

Any input on this gun ??
Priced close to $1000 !!

I like the way it feels, but I want it to shot accurately.

That sounds like one great rifle. Shoot accurately? Stainless, full-profile barrel with free-floated carbon fiber handguards? By Armalite? I think so!

Did I mention PICTURE, PICTURE, PICTURE? Oh, and where did you find this gem?

Thanks for the help......again.
I may take in a trade to see if I can get the price down a little more.
I was hoping to by an AR15 for about $750-$800.
I have been wanting certain features, or at least a certain level of performance.
As long as I can shoot sub-minute-of-angle, I will be satisfied.

I'll keep the forum up-to-date, and post pics when I buy my gun.
I have not owned ANY semi-auto battle rifle made later than 1945 since15-17 years ago.
