Can anyone tell me the height of the rear portion of the Deltapoint Pro? (behind the sight window)
I get that it's tall enough to occlude most suppressor height sights on a G17 MOS - I just want to compare it to Vortex options (Viper and Venom), but can't find anything other than general / overall dimensions for it. I like the sight, but it is tall in the MOS. edit: clarity |

I have a DP Pro. Not sure what measurement you seek, but will try to measure it for you. Are you referring to body thickness below the screen or something else? I can post a pic with calipers or tape, if I know what you need.
BTW: Its one hella fine mini reflex. I assume you are seeking to mount it on a G17 Glock with their new MOS mount system. Mine is on an AR carbine on a riser but I can still measure dimensions for you. Edit: Height by tape is 1/2". I'll get out calipers this afternoon. |
It is .500" thick from top to base at the rear of the optic.
Here is an article about the DP Pro and Glock MOS. It will block your ability to use standard height iron sights. .http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2016/1/18/g17-and-g19-added-to-glock-mos-line-up/ You could use Leupold's accessory rear sight and a suppressor height front sight. |
