Why is it that some 30rd replacement mag springs are $.99/each (C-Products stainless) and others that I have found online are like $5-$10 each???  Where is the best place to buy replacement springs?

I would say the plaxce that sells them for .99  I doubt a $5 spring is five times better, it probably isn't even twice as good.

What are the mags used for? For mags that I keep at the ready, I've put magpul followers and SAW's red springs in them. The springs are six dollars, and a bit cheaper if you buy ten springs.

I bought the 10 pack and have several in ready CProducts SS mags.  I then bought 6 CMMG double coiled  springs and put them in CProducts SS Mags.  They're both just chugging away.
That said I have 120+ mags with issue springs stashed.

I figure 10 is the most I can carry; stripper clips will do for the rest.
