Newbie, Hello I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the.....
Rguns complete upper (20" TRR15A3) in 5.56mm superbull profile barrel? Is this a good/accurate barrel? |

I picked up the TRR15A3 16 Inch Upper with Heavy Barrel, Mid-Position Gas Port, 1:8 Inch Rifling, Free Float QuadRail Handguards, YHM Flip-Up Front Sight and Vortex Flash Suppressor and the TRR15 5.56mm Lower Receiver with MagPul MOE Collapsible Stock, MagPul Trigger Guard and MagPul MOE Grip
MOE Stock Color: Olive Drab Receiver Color: Olive Drab Trigger Group: Parkerized Carbon Steel great gun I have had it about 2 months and put 1000 rounds of 62gr. green tip through it. not one single problem. |
| Thanks Scratch I appreciate the info. I am looking at the same lower to go with this upper. This will be my first AR if I decide to purchase. I wish I could get more input on the upper that I am looking at. My real concern is accuracy at 300 to 500 yrds. I do understand that alot more goes into accuracy than just the barrel, but the barrrel needs to be good to start. I must say at this point that my build is based on a tight budget (as alot of people) but plan to make changes I as I can afford them. I guess what I'm trying to say is, will I be satisfied with this barrel at 300 to 500 yrds. And again yes I realize that just the barrel is not the answer to accuracy. |
