OK everyone says go the direction of the bullet I know this. Should you push or pull cloth/brushes thru. I like to pull them thru as I feel it is easier but that means I have to thread the rod from the muzzle hook on attachement and pull back is this OK or a big no no.

Best is to pull or push away from the chamber area and out the muzzle. I tend to use the brush back-n-forth and only push patches out the muzzle. I finish the whole job with one of the hated oiled bore snakes.
