I'm finishing up my A4 clone and have a PSA LPK installed on it and noticed that their safety's are a little different design than ones I normally see.
I was wondering what the hive had to say about it, seems odd for them to make a different one than everyone else

PSA

Normal ones

If you look around at selector switches there are many different kinds.  The shape has nothing to do with funtion.

I have a Colt Match HBAR with the first one and a Colt LE6920 and SP6920 with the second. Don't worry about it. Those parts aren't actually made by PSA by the way. Almost every small part is made by anonymous manufacturers. The flash hider on each of my 6920's (which are only purchased a few months apart) clearly were made by different companies. The small shapes and edges are very different.

It's nothing to worry about.

It is just a different supplier, no need for concern.

The PSA looks like the one used on all recent Colts

Thanks for all the replies!

I wasn't worried about function... Just curious as to why I've never seen this style before

You should try a BADASS.  But it's sounds like your making a A4 clone.
