Has anyone here used a 01 lower for a sbr? I kinda want one with a 10.5 upper.

Sure did. Called it the 601 tanker. Had one of those super cool limited edition M231 stocks on it. ..

Jhud, yours was a registered lower, wasn't it? The one that was stolen? (registered as a MG, not a SBR)

That was an SBR'd 601 lower.

The stolen MG was an Essential Arms cast J series, serial #4xx6,
Built to be a prototype 607. Stamped by bushmaster on the port side.
Instead of getting upset about it I just focus on better things.

consider the fact you need a special KNS (QD) front pivot to use anything other than a rebated upper.
I keep extras in my cleaning kit
