have had an unknown brand 4x20 scope brand new for years and when I bought my 91/30 plans were to put it on. Then I bought my AR and plans changed. What mount do I use for it?

You'll need the measure the tube's diameter to see if it's 1 inch or 30 mm and then use rings to mount it.
If it has a carry handle mount they normally come off with a couple of screws.
