| Almost completed my first build, waiting on the final parts to arrive in the mail. Any suggestions on scopes? Just something descent for my first AR. |

Depends on what type of scope you want. For an AR, I would go tactical with big, easy to adjust turrets. Not sure how much magnification your looking for but here are some suggestions:
A nice cost efficient option would be the Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x40 Tactical. I have this scope on my precision AR and its nice for the money, I paid $282 at SWFA. On the mid to high end, go with a Leupold Mark 4 of some sort...Great scopes. |

If you're going to be whacking stuff at a distance, I am extremely pleased with my SWFA SS 10x42. For $300, it's a hell of a scope. For closer-in stuff, I'd look at something like an Aimpoint or an ACOG. This ^^^^^^ I love my Super Sniper for distance shooting. as stated one of the best scopes for the money heands down. If you are looking for a CQB sight/ scope set up the above are great and don't forget the EoTech as another option! |

Hows about a Trijocon Accupont 3x9 in a Larue QD mount? I really like my 3-9x40 combo.
