[ARCHIVED THREAD] - selector removal

I've can not remove the safety selector out of my olympic lower, is there a trick to getting it out, or is it just a really tight fit and i need to hit harder?

Unscrew the grip. The grip puts pressure on the detent and spring which holds the selector in and makes it "click" into position.

Once you remove the pistol grip make sure the hammer is cocked before you try and remove the selector. If the hammer is not cocked the selector will hang on the rear of the trigger.
