Has anyone used the sig polymer mags? What are the reviews?

I have two.  Have shot maybe 4 or 5 mag fulls through each with no problems at all.

If you mean the mags they ship with the 556 rifles, I wouldn't recommend them.

Why? I bought some this evening, not shot them yet, but they fit well and are SIG?

I have a SIG556 and am builing an AR now as my "light weight" gun.

IMO the mags that come with the SIG are not great.  They work OK most of the time, but I've had a few failures to feed with the one that came with the rifle.  They do not feel nearly as robust as a Pmag, and the follower in the SIG mag doesn't have any anti rotation provisions, which I think may have been part of the issue with my failures to feed.  But I guess that point is moot if you can't find any Pmags to buy!

On a side note, I bought some Lancer L5 mags since I couldn't find any Pmags.  They are more flimsy than the Pmag too, but seem stronger and better made than the SIG mag.  Haven't tried the Lancers yet, though.. just going on look and feel...

They're okay, but they're not the greatest.
