I just received a pair od magpul sights tha I want to use as back ups to the vortex red dot. Question how far back do I position the rear sight and on the front I have a samson 15 inch rail over a 16 inch middy where is the best position? All the way out or where the normal sight would have been? i

All the way back and all the way forward.

I mount mine all the way to the front and back...

The longer the sight radius the more inherently accurate the gun. Like they said, all the way each way.
