i know this has been covered,but i searched and cant find it.how come my front f sight has to be screwed up to the point where it is going to fall out to get me on at fifty meters? it has removable carry handle marded 6/3 etc.

Where is your rear sight set at? Im unsure if this would cause it. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

the rear sight is turned "down" and on the 6/3 line

It sounds like your MFG didn't use the proper 'F' type front sight base.  If they use the standard front sight base there is a chance  due to tolorance stacking that the front sight won't be tall enough (and lucky you - it was your rifle in that batch).

It's a well known issue.  To solve the problem you need to buy a taller front sight post.  Bushmaster sells these 0.040" taller front sight posts exactly for that reason.
