[ARCHIVED THREAD] - silver tip?

I have some old rounds I picked up at gun shows years ago, and one is a silver tip 5.56, and it does stick to magnet.
Any ideas what it is?
Sure wish I picked up more than 1 round of a few of these... somehow I have no black tips

looks like a "J" & "C" and a date code. so 3 digits, 1 at 4,8 and 12 o clock

The blue tip, and the blk/red are the same.

The new frangible rounds are silver. But they have blunt tips and you can easily pick them out.

Im sure Iv had them maybe 20 years. One of the others is lc 89, and there all from the same period.
Must have used up any black tips
