I was wondering if there is any risk of slam fire if you single feed the round into the chamber slap the bolt release?

Ive done it before & it didnt slam fire. Not that its a good habbit to get into.

If your rifle is pointed in a safe direction it shouldn't matter.

Is it better to leave the round on the mag then release the round or place the round into the chamber then release?
