I want to put a single point sling on my AR. Can anybody put in their 2 cents worth on the sling of their choice and why. Thanks  for your help.

I like the one from Gear Sector - it's simple, it works and you can get pretty much any kind of adapter you want to attach it:

I use the magpul MS3. I like it because it's a great sling, it works and can be used as a two point sling when needed. They're built tough and it makes transitioning from one shoulder to other a breeze. I've  mounted ASAP plates on all of my lowers but you can run it without the plate. You can buy the sling with a QD mount and lock it into your stock or mount a QD plate on the back of your lower as well.

Have gone to MagPul MS4s with the QD on the ACS stocks.  Putting Cascadia Armament QD adapters on the PRS stocks for the MS4 as well.  MS4 has two QD connectors and allows single point to be flipped over to two-point with a second bracket on the gun.  The others are ASP.

I use the Magpul MS3. Being new to AR's, I wanted the versatility of single point or two point sling attachment.
