I just purchased a couple of 30 round magazines for my Armalite .223 carbine. The floor plates on these magazines look like the extrusion & finish work was do by a monkey. Otherwise the magazines look and work very well. Please give me a source(s) for good quality replacement steel floor plates. Thanks. |
I never did get the reason to have one of those, its not that hard to take the mag out of the gun |
It's to make it easier to pull the mag out of the pouch while you are laying in the dirt digging a hole with your belly button and reloading at the same time.
