| I'm thinking about getting a stag 2h upper to put on my essential arms lower. I was just wondering what and how you guys feel about stag arms products. They seem like a solid company with a good product. From what I understand they aren't a top tier company but they are up there as far as quality wize. |

They are Good To Go.
My first AR was a Stag, and I have added more since. 0 issues with any of them regardless of the ammo or amount of abuse it receives. Even had one that was pretty much clogged with sand while hunting in Florida work at the range flawlessly the next morning without a cleaning. |

Stag is GTG, however, depending on the price, you may be able to get something better for the money. Link This is pretty much the best deal going I've seen in a long time(IMO) But if the stag is considerably cheaper, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Good luck and make sure to post pics when you make your choice |

Most of the people I have talked to said they were top notch and underrated. Some have said they are inline with rra. |

Don't get me wrong...Stag makes a fine product. But Daniel Defense is putting out some dynamite stuff of super high quality for only $70 more. But in the end, it is your decision and I don't think you will be dissapointed with either one. Its just a matter of whether or not you want to spend the extra dough or not. |
| I got a stag 2h a two years ago for ar15sales.com. for $489. Its a good upper and shipping was quick. The CMT gas key staking was no good so I replaced it. Was about $20 at the time to replace the gas key and screws. That DD upper listed above is a nice set up. Good luck with your decision. David |
| yeah the dd is only 70 bucks more but doesnt come with a rear sight. i really like dd's stuff its really nice but being my first build and being a college student that 70 bucks buys my stock assembly and for some unknown reason i have always been drawn to stag. im not really sure why but i just wanted to make sure no one has had any problems with them and they are quality stuff. |

i'd go with the stag too if you're on a budget but want high quality stuff. its 654 for a stag 2ht (same as the 2h but with rails) or 499 for a stag 2h from www.ar15sales.com
IMHO id go with the 2ht because if you want rails later you'll regret not spending the extra 155 bucks for a part thats worth 270 + labor time. |

I checked out the ar15sales.com and its still a wait the stag upper im looking at is out the door in stock. thats the only plus |
| I just got mine from Legal Transfers/AR15 Sales a few days ago. I like it. Had a couple issues with two of my C-Products aluminum mags, the followers were tilting as I was loading the ammo before I got to the range so I know it was the magazines, but other than that zero issues. |
