It needs to be 15" and around 200$. it's being paired with a Battlearms  billet set. I was looking at BCM Alpha KMR or the SLR handguards. SLR has a ton of options. i wanna try to keep it lightweight and slim. I'm more of an mlok fan too, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I know, If i got the kmr that would be my first keymod rail.thanks for the help

Im getting ready to re-rail my Spikes and I have my heart set on an SLR Solo Lite in MLOK flavor. I debated so many others and keep coming back to the SLR.

Small world, I toured the shop that anodizes these just this afternoon. Good people, they're doing my 80% for me.

I'm trying to decide also. I think I'm leaning towards SLR. Also looking at ALG EMR handguards, they have diff versions also but I'm not sure if I want to deal w/ shims. Anyone know if SLR handguards include a barrel nut wrench?

ETA- I already have 2 KMR's and they are super lightweight. Less flex than my DD RIS ll.

They do not include one. They have them for sale or you can use a crows foot wrench.

Cool, thx. If I go that route I will buy their wrench to torque properly.

Less flex than the ris 2?  The ris 2 is one of the more rigit rails I've handled in my time. That kmr must be something special

ALG or even the Geissele Mk4/8.  If I remember right, the price of the Geissele rails includes their gas block, which is really nice, and makes for a package that's about what you're looking for price wise.

Something special, I dont know about that but they're definitely nice. The kmr slips on really tight over the barrel nut & then gets sqeezed even tighter when it's torqued. Totally different design than DD. I love my ris 2 & I'm sure it's more durable than the kmr.

I'll second that.  I just put a 12.5" on my rifle a couple of months ago, and I love it.

You won't get much more slim than an ALG V2...

This top pic is my 18" SPR with a 15" V2.

SLR Solo Lite or Ultra Lite (depending on how much top rail space you need)
