does anyone know if you can still get a 9P model and what finish comes on it.

I could be wrong, but i seem to remember that the 9P was just a 6P with one of the extensions found in this thread.

There use to be an actual model 9P because I have seen it in my GSA price list, but it is an old one. I'm not sure if they are still available.

Right, that was what I was saying, except that they added the extension at the factory so you wouldn't have to order a 6P and and extension separately. I haven't seen it in their regular catalogs lately, but they don't list a lot of things in their retail catalogs. I'm sure if you contacted SF or one of their dealers here on the board, they can order one for you.

The 9P's are still available and it's a single 3 cell body, they're just not listed anymore. You can also build the 6P into 9P with the A19 & a lamp change, in a way I like the adaptabily of doing so because you get two light setups.

My bad about the extensions. I could have sworn i saw something like that though. Oh well, must've been for airsoft!

I got one on ebay that came with a M2 shock isolated bezel. $81 I mounted it to my AR15 with scope rings. Works great. A lot cheaper than a M3 but very similar.
