| so ya im the new guy with the question thanks in advance for your help. i saw something once in a magazine that i foolishly didnt save it was an off set adapter it screwed on to a flashlight body and moved either a light head or laser head over the center of the bore. ive been looking for about a week here and on the web and the surefire website and cant seem to find it. thanks for the help and sorry about the ambiguity. |

There are lots of things that can do that. Larue makes replacement Surefire mounts - some are offset over the bore.
http://www.laruetactical.com/ Yankee Hill makes an offset rail section (cheaper, a little more versatile) http://www.yhm.net/ There are a lot more options for mounting 1" flashlights. VTAC, Elzetta, Larue, Daniel Defense.... |

SureFire Classic WeaponLight model 676 features their A15 offset adapter and their M26 mount which clamps to the front strut of the AR15/M4 front sight casting.
It features a remote tape pressure switch with 5" long cable. The A15 was originally designed to centre a laser sight module over the barrel as close to it as possible but in the case of the 676 a 6V incandescent lamp module (L36) is used. |
| i know about elzetta i have one actually and love it. what im planing on using this for is actually a mossberg 590 with a surefire light on the pump the light wont clear the bayonet lug so im using one of these to clear the lug. thanks again to all who helped me |
