Does anyone know of a tail cap that allows the light it is on to have a strobe feature? I saw one in a brigade quartermasters catalog but when i did some re-search on it i found out that they will not work with lights that have a LED bulbs. the light im looking to put one of these tail caps on is a surefire 9p with TNVC drop in LED upgrade. it also has the strike bezel and clicky tail cap. its my personal every day carry light and even though i don't NEED to have a strobe feature, I do think it would be nice to have.

Just know that these tailcaps will have a constant drop on your batteries, even when the light is turned off. It isn't much, I think around .5 mAh –– so your batteries would be dead in 2 to 3 weeks if it was just sitting there. Just remove the tailcap when not in use. You could also get a LED drop in that has strobe mode on it. Solarforce makes some... as do others. Here is a list of drop ins |
