Where on the net can I find a tail cap pressure switch for the Surefire G2?  I have one I would like to put on my ar.
Thanks

I'm not sure if they make one but I know who will,  Brightflashlights in the Industry forum.

Brightflashlights sells a $20 aftermarket tape switch that works great with the G2.

I'm actually really curious to see how much better the $100 SureFire XM is over the aftermarket switch.

(I'm hope I'm not underwhelmed with the XM. )

Hit up BF and he'll take care of you.

Thanks for the help I may check with him after the upcoming gun show here in town.  Wich by the way keeps getting worse.

I just installed my tapeswitch from Brightflashligts. It seems very well made and works great with my G2. The customer service was great and I received the unit in less than a week.

What are you running your pressure switch wire through?

Corey

EDITED to add:

Does anyone know of a way to make a pressure switch like this constant on?  It would be nice if you could run the switch only and then tighten up the cap to make it constant on.  But it seems like mine works opposite that -- when the cap is tight on my M952 the switch doesn't work (I have to loosen the cap 1/4 turn and then it's fine).

It's a piece of fuel line I had laying around. I cut off a section then split it lengthwise, slipped the wire through the slit and it popped right in between the grip and panel, works great.

I have thought about ways to mod this set up with a clicker type switch, but haven’t looked around for a switch. Maybe a push button type clicker switch that could replace the pressure switch and be slipped under the inner tube or fixed to the grip and activated with the support hands thumb.
