I am in need of a parkerized three prong flash hider and I can't tell which vendors carry parkerized vs blued ones, anyone know a source?

Unless you're wanting an original, I recommend this as well. I bought one from them a while back for a spare, and not only was it a well made part, but it was only around $11 shipped as well. It is black, though, but others here who have used them have reported that naval jelly will remove the black finish and reveal the grey parkerizing underneath.

was it parkerized? I see that its only $24 and I'd like to go that route if its legit

ETA: I emailed and they said they are parkerized, however the charge $14 for shipping

They are parkerized and they are nice. It was an exact match for my Colt barrel.
At first the price seemed high but it was the just about the last part I needed (that and the lock washer ) so I went ahead and got it. Right now I dont care.

The ones from S.A.W. are actually made by Colt.

Last used Colt's I bought were $15 ea so new for $24 doesn't sound to awful. If I need another it will be DPMS more than likely.

You got me curious. Unless it's in packaging labeled as Colt, how can you tell?

Good question!

I can't remember the packaging mine came in. I don't think it was marked "COLT". Mark at SAW told me that it was a real Colt 3-prong. The color was right , so I just took his word for it.
