Whats a good target trigger? The stock one is kinda creepy.

Get the Giessele designated marksman trigger. It really is the best and I've got a bunch of great aftermarket triggers on different rifles - Jewell, WOA/RRA, JP, and Compass Lake.

I put the Timney in mine. I like it so far, but haven't shot it much since I put it in. I need to fix that ;)

Any issues with light primer strikes on surplus .308 with the Timney?  I have one in my Colt Sporter and like it but have been waiting to hear reviews from others before putting one in the .308.

I think that the Giessele is the best AR trigger I have ever used.  Until I buy one for myself.  I am using the RRA 2-stage in my LR308.

I have had a RRA in mine for two years, no issues and I love it...very smooth and sweet to
shoot.

I have an RRA 15 and the trigger is very good in my opinion.  I have a DPMS and the trigger is terrible and I have an RRA 2 stage match coming in Fri. and I'm going install it this weekend.  The RRA trigger that I have now breaks at exactly 4.5lbs.  That's heavy to some people but there is no creep at all and it breaks very clean.

i have a jp in mine, dont plan on replacing it.  you can rework stock triggers to eliminate creep.

Got an RRA match trigger thru my dealer yesterday for $75.....retail from RRA is $120...and put it in my DPMS Bull 20 last night.  Diference between night and day.  I was afraid it might be hard to change triggers but it was fairly easy.  The hammer spring is strong and there is quite a bit of tension there trying to hold the hammer in place and start the pin.  Did it in my recliner while watching tv.
