[ARCHIVED THREAD] - upper buttplate screw

I bought a A2 sling adapter off EE and the adapter did not come with the longer upper buttplate screw, anyone know the dimensions of the longer screw or where I could order one?? I have searched the www. but cannot find anyone who sells the individual screw.

Which A2 sling adapter? Have you tried using the current screw?

It's a brownells adapter and yes I tried the original screw and it was to short. Any ideas?

If you call Brownells and ask nice, they may send you one.

It won't have the drain hole, but you can go to your local fastener joint and get yourself a flat head socket, 1/4"-28 x what ever length you need. Standard A2 length is 1-1/4"
