I am building my first AR. I will buy the complete (semi-complete) upper instead of building it. I had origionaly planned on buying a Spikes Mid-Length. But, I have recently started thinking about BCM.

If I purchas this:
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-BFH-16-Mid-Length-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-mid-16%20bfh.htm
what else do I need to buy to finish off the upper?

It seems to me, I may be way wrong here, that all I will need is the handguard. Am I correct? I want the MOE handguard and didn't see one offered by BCM.

also: Forged, Stainless or Standard?

just a bit of info:
This gun is for Swine, Cardboard, Poppers and Zombies.

I shoot IDPA Carbine matches and will start shooting 3 gun, so by "Cardboard" I'm not talking precision.

If you get that particular model, you will need a charging handle, a complete bolt carrier group, handguards, and some kind of rear sight.

The Spike's uppers, if you can find them, are usually a better deal because they usually come with the charging handle, a complete BCG, and handguards, for about the same price as a BCM, depending on what model you get.

I have been having a problem finding the ST everywhere. But I can be patient. I will still need a rear sight with the Spikes but I've seen them on AimSurplus for $500 vs the $500 Upper + $45 CH + $150 BCG for the BCM. Although, I'll probably swap out the CH anyway with the BCM.
