hey guys I am fairly new to AR building and this is my first build. I was thinking about getting a BCM midlength for my  upper assembly...
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BCM-URG-MID-16
this is the one I am wanting to get...if you guys could tell me any other parts that I would need to make this work I would appreciate it.
i am pretty sure i need the charging handle.

Bolt Carrier Group (Bolt and bolt carrier together)
Charging handle
Some kind of rear sight (carry handle, rear sight or folding rear sight)

The picture does not have mid-length handguards on it, which are needed...  never ordered one of these from Bravo so I am not sure if it included or not (the package options add a BCG and charging handle, no mention of handguards so maybe they are already in there).

That will complete the upper.  You'll still need a complete lower (lower receiver, lower parts kit, stock, castle nut, receiver end plate, buffer tube/receiver extension, spring, buffer)

You can ask Bravo if it includes the mid-length handguards or not.

The upper receiver you have the link to will come WITHOUT handguards. You will need a set of handguards in addition to the BCG and charging handle already mentioned (plus a complete lower to put it on). Cavalry arms makes (or did make) some good 2-piece handguards at a decent price. I like mine. I have heard poor reviews on the RRA mid-length handguards but I have no experience with them.
