ok, i feel like i'm missing something on my first build here.
-ordered my mega lower today -will order a bcm upper middy next week -will shop around for a BCG and CH -daniel defense or RRA LPK -stock i haven't done a build before and i'm confused about the buffer. is it part of the lpk? (didn't see it listed), or is it something on the upper? or am i picking that up individually? or is this a completely stupid question to be asking? just don't want to have all my parts in a pile in a couple of weeks and find out i forgot something |

thanks, was looking at those. didn't realize the stock came with the buffer most of the time. i'll be getting all of the LPK and such in-town though. decent bit more expensive which is stupid on my part, but there are a couple of shops that i try to give money too as often as possible b/c they're awesome shops. thanks for the help guys. been doing my reading and such, didn't seem obvious to me that the buffer came in the kit w/ the stocks. appreciate the help, and of course i'll supply pics of everything when all is said and done. |

the link above to PalmettoStateArmory is a good way to finish off that lower. a few weeks ago though, in their basic kit, the LPK was a DD kit, they have since switch it to CMMG.
you're forgetting mags. i think i saw a post that DSGArms had a sale for 10 PMAGS for $100. i'd get that. you didn't want to get the BCM bcg and charge handle? i like the look of the Mega charge handle, but if i'm buying a new one, i'd probably go for the GasBuster (i want to get a suppressor in the future) you need BUIS as well. |
