where do I get those Badass wooden CRATES of ammo? 5.56 of course.

Those days are long gone....you have missed out unless you want to really pay a bunch of $ or find someone that don't know what they have.

I dunno....I've seen vendors at a number of gun shows with crates.  Wooden crate with 2each .50 cal cans loaded with 840 rounds on strippers in bandoleers.  Genuine Gi ammo.  The last time I saw this, they were asking (and getting!) about $425 per can and not offering a discount for taking the whole crate.

I purchased 4 of the .50 cal cans of M855 in bandos from AmmunitionToGo a few months ago. They arrived in wooden crates that were factory sealed. I think that's what you're talking about.

I purchased mine when they were about $300.00 per 840.  Now they are $500.00 or more per 840. You'll have to purchase 2 cans of 840 if you want the wooden crate.
