i am just looking for advice and help making my mind up. i appreciate everyone's input.

But yeah OP, LMT makes a great rifle. I can't really recommend one over the other since I don't know much about the YHM. I just know that LMT makes a top quality product. I would also consider looking into some of the Spikes or BCM offerings if you want more choices. But then, I'm not sure what the LMT would be lacking that you'd want anyway... |

so spikes is good? i priced out a rifle with all the furniture i want plus a t1 scope for the price of just an lmt without the furniture i really would want.
spikes is right near me locally and seems they are interested in selling me a rifle...fast response time from the company already in regards to some questions i asked of them. im really leaning towards spikes now. |
| I agee that Spikes or BCM would be good choices. Also, since this is a bug out gun, consider ther rifle length in 1/7, it will be much sweeter to shoot and you give up no velocity. A lot of people like the short barrels, I have both. The concussion out of a rifle is minimal compared with 14 or 16. Food for thoiught. |

ok, so it got down to a bcm 16" mid l upper or spikes 16" mid l upper. i was fond of the bcm upper i saw online...but i went to spikes in person and they were real helpful and i have an upper on order.
went with 16" mid l upper, their 12" high tier forearm rail with lw barrel. so now...i need help finding a lower because spikes told me they wouldnt be able to promise me a lower sooner than 2-3 months. should i just build my own lower or try and find a spikes lower on gunbroker, etc? im interested in a magpul ctr stock, magpul moe grip, upgraded trigger...i dont own a gun without trigger work done...so im going to do something to make trigger easier pull. advice and info appreciated. this is going to be my first 5.56, so even though i can always google...there are 1 million opinions out there. thank you |

Gunbroker is a great place to find a spikes lower. Aimsurplus has spikes lowers instock for $79.95.
