Ok guys and gals, got a question for yall, if you guys had a 300-350 dollar range for a new sight for your ar what would you pick? I will use it mostly for hunting and target shooting (speed drill type stuff more than seeing who can group the best). I am stuck between 3 sights on is a EOTech, a 4x32 from IOR, and a leather wood ART (also how hard are these to use, and would it be at all better that the Leopold 3x9 rifleman I have now). What I would like to hear is what if any experience you folks have had with theses sights. I am not dead set on any of the 3 and if you have any other suggestions please make them. It will go on a Armalite M-15A4. Any help would be very much appreciated. |

I had the Leatherwood ART, or the current equivalent, and despite the nostoliga, it was without a doubt the worst scope I have ever owned. Moving the range ring required a stupid amount of force, the optics were fuzzy, and the whole package was very heavy. I replaced it with an IOR Valdada M2, which is a fine scope by any standard. It is clear and bright, illuminated, and much lighter and more compact than the Leatherwood. I have the MP9 range finding reticle, which is nice as the scope had a very good bullet drop compensator, which is calibrated to 62grn. ammo from a 20 inch barrel. |

The IOR are nice scope, I’m not a fan of the new ART scope, an EoTech are great RED Dot sights. If we can help you get a scope feel free to let me know.
