[ARCHIVED THREAD] - which sling mount?

i have an armatile m15a2 with the skeleton stock. my question is: do i get the sling mount for the collapsible buttstock or the solid buttstock? here is a picture of the stock if you dont know what it looks like but mine does not have that sling mount...

Sorry to latch on to your post but I have the same question. Ive got that same stock as the one pictured, ring and all, and want to put a TAG single point on it. Can I run the sling through that ring or do I need the clip attachment? Im ready to order this now so if anyone knows just post asap!

If your ACE skeleton stock already has the sling loop, you're good to go.

The CAR Burnsed loop pictured is a no go for the ACE skeleton stock. You will need to pick up an A1/A2 Burnsed Loop.

Just to clarify, the A1 and A2 are two different items, however, the only difference bewteen the two is the length of the attachment screw. I called DD to confirm and the A1 should work for the ACE.

My stock doesn't have that swivel sling mount. Where can i find it? All i have is a screw right there where that mount is...that seems likie it would be the easiest way to mount a sling on the gun.
