I have a 15" troy trx extreme and i am looking good vertical grip for this rail system. I have the afg on it now and feels to wide. If anyone has specs and pics of there set up would be great in you could post them up that would be great.

Thanks

Chace

I believe you meant 'which'.

I like the Magpul grips.

If the AFG is too wide I will assume you have small hands?

Look at some hand stops or maybe Gear Sector's Stubby VFG.

Personally, I like the stubby Tango Down vertical forgrip. Definately not to wide, and nice and short. The standard ones are indeed to long. But I prefer to push the vfg almost to the end of my rail system and then to use the vfg as a hand stop, not so much as a grip. But if the need arises it is there case you need to whip the barrel around.

The USGI Knight's VFG is pretty small in diameter.

The LaRue  "FUG" has some nice features and a good qd mount.  I've been very pleased with mine.

Get a handstop of you have to have something.  You'll have much better control of the carbine by not using a vfg.

Another vote for Larue FUG.
Comes with 3 lengths of endcaps, so you can pick and choose what size you want.

I like the CAA M-Grip, I know CAA = bad word here, but I still like them.

For QD ability FUG or tango down

For perfect stubby length: gear sector

This. No pics yet, but I love mine.
I can't say enough about the FUG. You can make it stubby, or full length; it's quick detach and it locks on solid.
When I say it locks on solid, I mean it. It has the same bite to the rail as La Rue's QD optic mounts.

It is expensive, but I will put this on any other rifle that I buy.
