i have a Fulton Armory upper on order.  it has a four rail gas block and aluminum handguards.  i would like to put a Troy Industries folding front sight on it.  this sight is supposed to be mounted in a manner where the writing is visible from the muzzle end and the sight folds down towards the shooter, correct?  when i look at the length of the sight post and the height of the handguard in relation to the height of the gas block, i wonder if this sight will be able to fold all the way down?  also i'm concerned about the height of the sight, is it intended to be used on a gas block or on a railed handguard?

thanx.

Troy front and rear sights are supposed to be mounted on the same plane - the rear on the receiver and the front on the forward part of a FF tube.  If your 4-rail gas block is lower than the height of a standard railed FF tube, the sights will never zero.
