i am new to this realm of weaponry and i am wondering about the quality and reliability of wolf ammo. is it accurate? how dirty is it? any info would be greatly appreciated.

You will get a lot of responses that suggest shooting Wolf ammo will impregnate your dog, kick  your daughter, and make your wife run around with ugly men, but the truth is that it's just cheap ammunition.  It is not consistently loaded, and it tends to be kind of wimpy.  It is also dirty, because the powder doesn't seem to burn completely in anything but very long barrels-and it's still dirty in them.  Being inconsistent means by definition that Wolf isn't as accurate as it should be for the components they use.

On the other hand, it's inexpensive (most of the time), and if you pay attention to the packaging, you can find the Boxer primed (as in "reloadable") version, which means you get more than one use out of the cases.

It's not horrible, especially if you're just after trigger time.  There are other inexpensive brands (the "Bear" varieties and Golden Tiger) that are more consistent, hotter, and more accurate.  However among these only Wolf offers Boxer primed cases.  More's the pity...
