I was shooting MP 15 today, shot 30 rounds of brass ammo, perfect , loaded up 20 rounds of Wold 55gr just to see if would function. The first round fired but would not eject the round, I had to use my cleaning rod to get the case out. Any one else have this trouble. I have shot Wolf in other AR's many times. The MP shoots perfect with the brass cased ammo I have used thus far???????????

the original problems with fte with wolf were when it had the older polymer coating that was dark grey or even greenish sometimes.  also ive heard that some with the seal on the neck would cause a lot of fte problems.

try and buy a "new" box with the new coating and see if it still is fte.  thats all i can think of wolf ammo related.

Carbon in the chamber neck area causes the steel cased ammo to stick a bit sometimes. Clean and try shooting the Wolf first or just by it self.
I have never had this problem myself shooting mixed ammo.

Was the Wolf ammo laying in the sun prior to shooting? Outside temperature?

The ball powder used in Wolf is very temp sensitive.

buy and use a chamber brush ,and clean it well before going from steel to brass cased ammo. You will usually be  OK going from brass to steel

Proper cleaning and lube should solve this.....I think the brass may be a little more forgiving but for me the only problem I ever had with Wolf was in a dry dirty chamber.......

I've found that even when I clean religously, I at some point get this type of failure during each range trip, while using wolf.  Sometimes it's after 200 rounds, today it happened at about 115 rounds of Wolf, not counting brass ammo.  The steel case is sensitive to carbon buildup as others mention.  I've had it happen after as little as one mag in my stainless barrelled guns.  Personally, I think that anyone who runs wolf, will have this type failure at some point, unless they are limiting themselves to less than 100 rounds per range session.
A while back, i posted a thread inquiring about the reliability of wolf ammo in AR's here, it generated a ton of "my gun ran a clip of wolf ammo fine today" as if that proves reliability.  Last week - I fired 200 rounds of wolf rapid fire through my new gov. profile upper, no problems.  This week, 115 rounds and I had a typical wolf jam.

I pretty much just shoot Wolf. I had the same thing happen to me with my RR AR a few weeks ago. The thing is ... I hadn't cleaned that rifle in about a year (didn't shoot it much).

Use a rod and punched it out. Nothing else would work. Cleaned the chamber, the bore, and it fired fine.

Just keep it clean and it should be just fine. This was my first problem with Wolf.

First off the problems with wolf originaly was the sealant at the the cartridge neck where the bullet meets the case. The red sealant could get things gummy in an unlined chamber. The new polymer coated stuff as well as the old laquer coated stuff wont come off and stick to the chamber.

If you shoot brass cased first and then wolf you shouldnt hav a problem. If you shoot wolf first because the steel case does not expand to the chamber like brass and make an airtight seal you get fouling blow by where the chamber gets filthy. In some cases you get premature chamber bleed off wich while it might not effect a carbine it can on a 20" system wich normaly bleeds chamber pressure off to zero before extraction..it bleeds off quicker causing FTFs.

With blow by you get a real dirty chamber worse with unlined but just the same when you use brass agin and it expands the excessive blow by can cause the empty to stick.Ive never experienced this but I use good mags and lube well and also broke my weapons in with a couple thousand rounds a piece of good brass before feeding crap wolf.
