25M per Army FM. Do a web(yahoo) search and you can find the Zero targets The target tells what to move sights... as to impact of rounds. As for the Aimpoint. Read the book or the Aimpoint web page. I have never used one.

Due to the nature of A1 sights you would probably be best off using the 50 yard BZO for your irons. But having the CCO so far above your bore you might not use the same logic. Try it and see if you like it. The 50 yd BZO is just about the best for reflex type shooting.

On my carbine with CH mounted Aimpoint I use the 25m zero for the irons and the 50m zero for the optic. I have yet to engage targets out  past 75m with it, but at that range I can make soda cans dance. My intent at the next up coming range sessions will be to put the thing on paper at 50m, 100m and 150m to get a better idea.

Nothing specific, what ever size you want.

I would recommend a 50 yrd BZO over a 50 mtr. No other reason than most pistol/ rifle ranges use yards for their target locations and backdrops which makes it easy to set out your paper. BUT you can take a cardboard box, if your range allows this, and staple your paper target to it and walk it out the few extra yards for the 50mtr cal. For dot size I would say start with any dot 2 inch and above, depending on your eyesight and shooting abilities. Remember at 50 yrds 1/2" is roughly 1/2 MOA for your sight adjustments.
